KSCP’s Victoria Park Scarecrow Trail in Ashford went down a treat. Over 500 children and adults visited the trail and had a great day enjoying a lovely walk in the park and finding all the fab scarecrows.

Brownies, a Care Home, families, groups, business and schools – young and old took part and there was lots of creativity and fun on display. Celebrating the environment – the scarecrow trail was part of the councils Victoria Park HLF project. Premier Foods donated hampers for prizes, and took part, and the Mayor and Mayoress of Ashford awarded them. Winner was Ben Sharp for Mrs Archer, but everyone was a winner… Diane from KSCP was too busy to take photos,  but for a few of the scarecrows see our 25.10 feature on our Facebook page.
