River dipping in Watercress Fields really was a fun and lovely day.

We found lots of wee special creatures, quite a few bullhead fish and small fry, plus damselfly larvae, freshwater shrimps, leech, case caddis and many more aquatic invertebrates. A new world for many children and adults. There was a bit of time for art too…but dipping was the favourite activity.

Somehow we didn’t end up with a photo of that bit, ..so any parents who were there if you have a pic, do please send it to us  🙂
