Last week we finally carried out a long-planned-for river restoration project on Buxford Stream in Ashford.

Working in collaboration with the Internal Drainage Board, work included cutting back trees to increase light reaching the channel, placing large woody debris into the channel and excavation of the banks to maintain flood capacity. Looking forward to seeing how it develops over the next 12 months.
