Hedgelaying at Givaudan

The Ashford Team continued work to re-lay the Givaudan hedge beside the Great Stour Meadow. Come rain, come shine we thinned, pleached, laid and bound the hedge. Slowly but surely it is coming into shape .

By doing it in stages ensures that there are seasonally some flowering and fruiting trees in the hedge. the arisings were used to create a dead-hedge across an unwanted access point.
