400th pond!
Today we completed our 400th pond for Great Crested Newts in Kent!
During the duration of the scheme, our talented contractors have sculpted, dredged and contoured countless ponds for wildlife funded by District Level Licensing. KSCP delivered over half of these just in our catchment!
45 ponds lost to development were mitigated through the creation of 400 new breeding ponds for GCN, 62% of which are already being used for breeding in Kent (a national top record)!
